MLCS Game 2 rained out, moved to Saturday
Mother Nature's impact on the MINK League Playoffs continues to be felt.
Friday's game two of the MINK League Championship Series is postponed to Saturday at 7pm due to the rain showers that have set in over St. Joseph.
The top-seeded Mustangs were bracing for the opportunity to clinch the series, while the No. 2 seed Clarinda A's had hopes of prolonging the season by one more game. St. Joe took the opener of the best-of-three series on Thursday 10-6.
This marks the second game of the playoffs to be postponed. Carroll and Jefferson City's MINK Wild Card game Monday was pushed back 24 hours due to rain.
The postponement means, if the A's win Saturday, a decisive game three will be played Sunday at 5pm.
