MINK officials forced to cancel All-Star Game
The best-of-the-best in one of the nation's top summer college baseball leagues won't have the opportunity to come together on one field this season.
Due to the number of weather-related postponements and rescheduled games across the league this season, the MINK League and the member teams have made the decision to cancel the 2026 MINK League All-Star Game.
This decision allows all teams the opportunity to complete their regular season schedules and ensure that all clubs have the best chance to finish league play, with the MINK League playoffs scheduled to begin July 27th.
"We know many fans, players, and families were looking forward to celebrating the league's top talent, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the completion of the regular season," the league said in a statement on its official Facebook page.
With less than a month remaining in the regular season, Clarinda holds a league-best 15-2 record in the MINK. Carroll is two games back at 14-5, and Joplin trails the A's by three and a half games with a 13-7 mark in league games.
