Inside the MINK unveils All-Star roster

Mother Nature's presence was felt through the first half of the MINK League slate with storms forcing numerous postponements and teams scrambling to find makeup dates. The league's all-star game was cancelled to open up another opportunity to play games with major implications on the standings, but it removed the opportunity for the Midwest's finest summer college baseball players to be recognized on one diamond.

Inside the MINK, a publication covering all seven teams within the league, unveiled its 2026 All-Star roster highlighting some of the best and brightest talent.

Clarinda led all teams with eight selections courtesy of seven players. Sean Bazmore, batting .316 with 20 stolen bases to go along with a 1.13 ERA and three saves, earned a spot as the only two-way All-Star at both shortstop and closer.

St. Joseph had seven players get the nod, including starting pitchers Lane Chapman and Sebastian Coleman, both of whom are averaging over 12 strikeouts per nine innings thus far.

The Joplin Jailbirds landed six All-Stars in their first year as a member of the MINK League, spearheaded by power-hitting first baseman Landin Midgett. The Columbus, KS native is batting .333 with four home runs and a league-best 27 RBIs.

Carroll, vying for the No. 1 seed in the upcoming playoffs, earned three All-Star bids. Chillicothe and Nevada each had two All-Star selections, while North Missouri had one.

Just a week and a half of regular season baseball remains, with none of the playoff spots decided yet.
